Description:

 

Zinc pyrithione can be used as an antifungal and antibacterial agent. It has antibacterial properties and is effective against many pathogens from the streptococcus and staphylococcus class. It is best known in treating dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. It is also used in treating psoriasis, eczema, fungus,ringworm, athletes foot, dry skin, tinea, atypical dermatitis, and vitiligo.
