ZUG, SWITZERLAND: Foster Wheeler AG’s subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by Samsung Engineering Co Ltd (Samsung) for a waste heat recovery unit for PTT Public Co Ltd’s (PTT) power generation and heat recovery project at the Map Ta Phut industrial complex in Thailand. Samsung is PTT's engineering, procurement and construction and pre-commissioning contractor for this project. In 2010, Foster Wheeler successfully delivered two similar waste heat recovery units to Samsung for PTT.

Foster Wheeler will design, engineer and supply waste heat recovery unit, including a selective catalytic reduction system and other associated equipment. Delivery of the waste heat recovery unit to site is expected during the third-quarter of 2013.
