CLEVELAND, US: Lubrizol Corporation announces several officer changes. These changes were driven in part by the completed acquisition of Lubrizol by Berkshire Hathaway, as well as by the retirement of some executives.
James L Hambrick remains Lubrizol’s Chairman, President and CEO. Mike Vaughn, will become corporate vice president, operations, supply chain and HSES (effective upon the retirement of Larry Norwood in 2012). Also from October 3, 2011, Andy Panega, joined Lubrizol as corporate vice president, human resources.
“I believe our new executive leadership team is extremely qualified. They are an experienced and dedicated group of individuals who are ready to help direct the future of Lubrizol,” said Hambrick.
Also some of the Lubrizol executive officers who have retired are; Charlie Cooley, Senior VP, CFO; Greg Lewis, Corporate VP, Global risk management; Larry Miller, Corporate VP, HR and; Patrick Saunier, Corporate VP, Information Systems and Business Processes.
The other officers to retire later this year or in the first half of 2012 are; Steve Kirk, senior VP and COO; Larry Norwood, Corporate VP, Operations and; Leslie Reynolds, Corporate Secretary.
With the completion of the acquisition on September 16, Lubrizol is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
