Pro Tech International to establish subsidiary in India

BANGALORE, INDIA: New Orleans, US-based Pro Tech International, a leading speciality sugar and water treatment chemicals manufacturer, is expanding its footprint and establishing a subsidiary in India. The India subsidiary, Pro Tech Chemicals India Pvt Ltd., to be headquartered in Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka, India will serve the Asia Pacific and India markets, the company said.

The company’s portfolio of sugar processing chemicals offers products perfect for all aspects of sugar manufacturing from raw sugars, plantation white sugars, refined sugars and even for ethanol processing industry. It also offers a full range of sugar processing equipment at competitive prices. Moreover, the water treatment products will cover all aspects of potable and industrial water treatment requirements in India.


Mr Ian Struggles, Co-owner of Pro Tech International noted:

Specifically for Pro Tech Chemicals products, the speciality chemicals market for sugar processing is in the range of Indian Rupees 300 to 350 crores (approx. US $46 to 50 million), while the speciality chemicals market for water treatment is around Indian Rupees 500 crore (approx. US $77 million).

With growing its offerings in the sugar processing and water treatment solutions, Pro Tech Chemicals will look to widen its product portfolio for the India market.
