Kornberg was an American biochemist and Nobel laureate
He was the first scientist to identify deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) polymerase in the intestinal bacterium E coli
In 1951 He received Paul-Lewis Award
In 1959 Kornberg was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine
In 1979 He got National Medal of Science
In 1995 Kornberg Cosmos Club Award
