BNX 1035

BNX 1035 is a sulfur containing primary antioxidant and heat stabilizer that is widely used for the process stabilization of polyethylene wire and cable resin applications. It eliminates the concern over micro contaminants that can affect the insulation properties of the wire, and it also prevents premature gel formation of chemically cross-linked polyethylene during extruder compounding. It provides efficient processing stabilization and long-term thermal stability with excellent system compatibility and low color that can also be applied in styrenic polymers, polypropylene, elastomers such as EPDM and SBR and for carboxylated SBR latex, polybutadiene rubber and polyisopropene rubber. This high molecular weight phenolic antioxidant also provides excellent stabilization in other petroleum products such as turbine oil and in petrolatum, and higher alpha olefins such as 1-butene and 4-methyl-1 pentene plus polyurethanes, polyesters, segmented block copolymers, ABS, and other rubber modified polymers.

BNX 1425

BNX 1425 is a multifunctional additive that functions as an antioxidant for the stabilization of plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers, and rosin ester tackifier resins. The product is also an effective esterification catalyst that is particularly useful in the production of rosin esters and in the solid-state polymerization of PET and other thermoplastic polyesters. Its advantages are it has excellent resistance to migration and extraction and further it has low-volatility during polycondensation and high temperature processing.

BNX 549 is a multifunctional antioxidant for the stabilization of plastics and elastomers. Unlike conventional phenolic antioxidants, it is effective to scavenge alkyl (carbon-centered) radicals. The product is particularly active under demanding processing conditions (high temperature, high shear) and under anaerobic conditions. It is particularly useful for the stabilization of plastics and elastomers derived from butadiene and other dienes, for example polybutadiene and copolymers of polybutadiene and other monomers. The product is also effective in the stabilization of polyolefins and polyamides.

BNX MD 1024

BNX MD 1024 is a metal deactivator and primary (phenolic) antioxidant, used in reducing or preventing the harmful effect of copper or other metals upon various polymers. It is highly effective in hindering the harmful effect of copper conductors upon polypropylene, high and low density polyethylene and some thermoplastic elastomers used as primary insulation in wire and cable applications. Benefos 1618

Benefos 1618 is a phosphite-type antioxidant for the stabilization of a wide range of plastics, elastomers, adhesives and other substrates. It is particularly useful to prevent the discoloration of polymers during melt processing operations, including polyolefins, polyesters, styrenic polymers, engineering plastics, elastomers, and adhesives. It also contributes to the UV stability of polyolefins. The advantages are it reduces discoloration in polymers containing pigments such as titanium dioxide and further provides non-discoloring and low-volatility.
