Benzene is formulated under the most suitable environment by utilizing quality approved basic chemicals in tune with the predefined market standards of quality. Benzene is a natural constituent of crude oil and is one of the elementary petrochemicals.
Lanolin is the complex mixture of long chain waxy esters, hydroxy ester and diesters. It is also termed as wool wax or wool grease. Commercially lanolin and its derivate compounds find uses in lubricants, rustproof coatings, polishes, lip balm, baby skin treatment products and in saddle soaps.
Menthol is used to prepare menthyl esters to emphasize floral notes (especially rose) in perfume industry.
Acrolein is prepared industrially by oxidation of propene. The process uses air as the source of oxygen and requires metal oxides as heterogeneous catalysts.Acrolein is a relatively electrophilic compound and a reactive one, hence its high toxicity. It is a good Michael acceptor, hence its useful reaction with thiols.
Glycerin is used in medical, pharmaceutical and personal care preparations, often as a means of improving smoothness, providing lubrication, and as a humectant.
Allantoin is used as an active ingredient in a lot of cosmetics with several beneficial effects including: a moisturizing and keratolytic effect, increasing the water content of the extracellular matrix and enhancing the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells, increasing the smoothness of the skin; promoting cell proliferation and wound healing; and a soothing, anti-irritant, and skin protectant effect by forming complexes with irritant and sensitizing agents.
ALLANTOIN is frequently present in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other oral hygiene products, in shampoos, lipsticks, anti-acne products, sun care products, and clarifying lotions, various cosmetic lotions and creams, and other cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
Biocon OC is a preservative booster, its anti-microbial property make it ideal in several uses, especially in cosmetics and personal care applications (skin, hair, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.).Biocon OC shows high stability and a favourable safety profile with no skin/eye irritation and no skin sensitisation. Biocon OC can be used in very low dosage (0,1% maximum) and can act as anti-oxidant as well.Main applications are in cosmetics (creams, shampoos, hair dyes, compact powder and wipes), oral care (toothpaste and mouthwash) and pharmaceuticals (to inhibit bacterial or fungal skin diseases).
Cetrimide is the compound with antiseptic properties, and chemically it is a quaternary ammonium salt. As cetrimide is an antiseptic agent, retains various antifungal, antibacterial, and other antimicrobial properties. It can be used in shampoo for the treatment of a certain type of dermatitis to kill some bacteria, fungi, and viruses on the skin of the scalp.
Bronopol is an organic compound that is used as an antimicrobial. It is used as a preservative in many consumer products such as shampoos and cosmetics. Bronopol was subsequently adopted as an antimicrobial in other industrial environments such as paper mills, oil exploration, and production facilities, as well as cooling water disinfection plants.
Oleic acid in chemical terms is monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid because of the single double bond between the carbons. It has the formula of C18H34O2 and is pale yellow or brownish yellow oily liquid with lard-like odor. Oleic acid is the emollient in cosmetics, an emulsifying agent in soaps, the excipient in pharmaceuticals and solubilizer in aerosol products.
