Plating intermediates improves electronic potential differences in electroplating

Plating-Intermediates

Zinc Brightner

Zinc Brightner is specially formulated for electroplating purposes. It is used as a brightner for alkaline/cyanide zinc electroplating baths.

Properties Suppliers
Chloral Hydrate

Chloral hydrate is a sedative and hypnotic drug as well as a chemical reagent and precursor. It was discovered through the chlorination of ethanol in 1832 by Justus von Liebig in Gießen. Its sedative properties were first published in 1869 and subsequently, because of its easy synthesis, its use was widespread. It was widely used recreationally and misprescribed in the late 19th century. A solution of chloral hydrate in alcohol called "knockout drops" was used to prepare a Mickey Finn. More reputable uses of chloral hydrate include its use as a clearing agent of chitin and as a key ingredient of Hoyer's mounting medium, which is used for slide-mounted observation of organisms under a large microscope. In electroplating industry it is used to adjust the electronic potential difference in semi-bright nickel plating and in agriculture, it is used as intermediate of herbicide and other kinds of pesticides .

Properties Suppliers
Propane Sultone

Propane Sultone is used as a chemical intermediate to introduce sulfopropyl groups into molecules and to confer water solubility and anionic character. It is an important chemical intermediates that used as the starting material for many electroplating chemical intermediates, sensitizing dye anionic Gemini surfactants. In addition, it is used into secondary lithium ion solution to improve recycling life.

Properties Suppliers
Propargyl Chloride

Propargyl chloride is a highly toxic and flammable clear brown liquid. Common uses for propargyl chloride include soil fumigation, corrosion prevention, and as an intermediate in organic synthesis and electroplating. It reacts with alcohols to form propargyl ethers. It is a good corrosion inhibitor and antirust.

2-Mercaptothiazoline is used as brightener, copper electroplating intermediate and leveling agent in nickel electroplating baths.

Properties Suppliers
o-Chlorobenzaldehyde

2-Chlorobenzaldehyde is used as an intermediate for the manufacture of dyestuffs, optical brighteners, zinc electroplating intermediates, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals and metal finishing products.

Properties Suppliers
Diethyl Amino Propyne

Diethyl Amino Propyne is used as a class II brightener.

Properties Suppliers
Sodium Allyl Sulfonate

Sodium allyl sulfonate is used as a basic brightener in nickel electroplating baths. It is also used as pharmaceutical intermediates.

Properties Suppliers
Sodium Vinyl Sulfonate

Sodium vinyl-sulfonate is a polymerizable organic compound which has many industrial uses, particularly as an antistatic agent and as an agent improving the tinctorial affinity of synthetic fibres, such as polyacrylonitrile and polypropylene, to cationic dyes, as a dispersing agent in polymer emulsions, as a wetting agent for lowering the mixing water content of cement, as a starting material for the production of cation exchange resins and synthetic rubber.

Properties Suppliers
2-Mercaptobenzimidazole

2-mercaptobenzimidazole is used as non-staining secondary antioxidant and antiozonant for rubber and nylon tyre cord industry. It is useful for heat resistance when used in sulfurless vulcanization. 2-Mercaptobenzimidazole is also used as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals (especially for Lansoprazole), copper electroplating and other organic compounds for rubber industry.
