Properties  Density(on 20℃) is 1.48 g/cm3. The loosen density is approx 0.32~0.36 g/cm3. Soluble in chloroform, benzene, and carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in alcohol and gasoline, insoluble in water.

Applications  As a kind of super accelerator used to natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber. Commonly, using with some other kind of accelerators such as benzothiazole, sulfenamide. A fast velocity at vulcanizing temperature can be obtained, and intensile can be increased. Suitable for making inner tube of tires, soft tube, isolating layer of wire and cable, etc.. Don’t use for manufacturing the products contacting with foods. TDEC is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under BgVV XXI, Category 4.

Use Characteristics Konson® ZMBT-80 is an accelerator used in natural rubber, synthetic rubber. Its behaviours are the same as to accelerator Konson® ZMBT-80. The sulfuration critical temperature is high (138℃). The rubber mass will be of good anti aging property if adding this product. It neigher discolors nor contaminates and suitable in color rubber articles, cables, rubber footwears, medical-lies, etc. the application to rubber product touched with food, please refer to the regulations of FDA, BgVV.
Processing Advantages The thermoplastic, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easily and quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing. In this way, optimal activity of the effective ZMBT is assured.
Dosage levels Normally, the dosage is about  0.5 - 1.5 phr.
Applications Variouse articles, e.g. treads, carcasses, air hoses, conveyor belts, driving belts, hoses, cable insulations. And color rubber articles.
