Zinc 2-Mercaptobenzothiazole

Zinc 2-mercaptobenzothiazole is used in the form of a soluble concentrate or liquid and wettable powder to control mold, mildew, bacteria and fungi which degrade aqueous industrial products, fabrics, and yarns, and slime-forming bacteria and fungi in industrial water systems. It was first registered as a pesticide in the United States in 1955 in an industrial preservative product .It is used for NR,IR,SBR,NBR,EPDM and latex, may be regarded as an intermediate between accelerator M and accelerator DM, used as a secondary accelerator in combination with accelerator PZ and accelerator EZ.

Zinc Dibenzyldithiocarbamate

Zinc dibenzyldithiocarbamate is a very fast primary or secondary accelerator for NR, SBR, IIR, EPDM and for natural and synthetic latexes. It provides excellent prevulcanization resistance in latex compounds. It has the best scorch resistance among zinc dithiocarbamate accelerators.

Zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate

Zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate is a fast curing primary or secondary effective ultra-accelerator for natural and synthetic latex form compounds. Can be used advantageously for dipped, spread, and cast goods. Similar in property that of URCC PZ. Has less resistance to scorching than URCC PZ and shows a slight tendency to premature vulcanization.

Nickel Dibutyldithiocarbamate is used as a light stabilizer and antiozonant in the plastic industry; Antioxidant and Antiozonant in the rubber industry . It is used in EPDM and CSM for high heat resistance.

Sodium Diethyldithiocarbamate

Sodium diethyldithiocarbamate is the organosulfur compound. It is used as complexing agent for heavy metal ions. The diethyldithiocarbamate ion chelates to many "softer" metals via the two sulfur atoms. Other more complicated bonding modes are known including binding as unidentate ligand and a bridging ligand using one or both sulfur atoms. The effect of diethyldithiocarbamate of chelating zinc inhibits metalloproteinases, which in turn prevents the degradation of extracellular matrix, which is an initial step in cancer metastasis and angiogenesis. Diethyldithiocarbamate inhibits superoxide dismutase, which can both have antioxidant and oxidant effects on cells, depending on the time of administration.

Tetra ethyl thiuram disulfide is a drug discovered in the 1920s and used to support the treatment of chronic alcoholism by producing an acute sensitivity to alcohol. It is also being studied as a treatment for cocaine dependence, as it prevents the breakdown of dopamine; the excess dopamine results in increased anxiety, higher blood pressure, restlessness and other unpleasant symptoms. Several studies have reported that it has anti-protozoal activity as well. Research for possible disulfiram use in cancer therapy has been announced. This compound is also used as a primary and secondary accelerator or as a sulfur donor in most sulfur-cured elastomers in rubber industry.
