Properties Suppliers
Cadmium Sulfide

Cadmium sulfide is an inorganic compound. It occurs in nature with two different crystal structures as the rare minerals greenockite and hawleyite, but is more prevalent as an impurity substituent in the similarly structured zinc ores sphalerite and wurtzite, which are the major economic sources of cadmium. As a compound that is easy to isolate and purify, it is the principal source of cadmium for all commercial applications. It is mainly used as a pigment. Cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenide are used in manufacturing of photoresistors sensitive to visible and near infrared light. In thin-film form, cadmium sulfide can be combined with other layers for use in certain types of solar cells. It was also one of the first semiconductor materials to be used for thin-film transistors (TFTs). However interest in compound semiconductors for TFTs largely waned after the emergence of amorphous silicon technology in the late 1970s. It is also used as chemical raw material for glass and ceramic industry.

Properties Suppliers
Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound. It is a common substance found in rock in all parts of the world, and is the main component of shells of marine organisms, snails, pearls, and eggshells. It is the active ingredient in agricultural lime, and is usually the principal cause of hard water. Calcium carbonate is commonly used medicinally as a calcium supplement or as an antacid, but excessive consumption can be hazardous. The main use of calcium carbonate is in the construction industry. It is used in the oil industry in drilling fluids as a formation bridging and filtercake sealing agent and may also be used as a weighting material to increase the density of drilling fluids to control downhole pressures. It is widely used as an extender in paints and as a filler in plastics. It is also used in adhesives, sealants, and decorating fillers. Calcium carbonate is a common ingredient for many glazes/ceramics in its white powdered form.

Properties Suppliers
Potassium Nitrate

Potassium nitrate occurs as a mineral niter and is a natural solid source of nitrogen. Major uses of potassium nitrate are in fertilizers, rocket propellants and fireworks. It is also used as a food additive. It is also commonly used in the heat treatment of metals as a solvent in the post-wash. The oxidizing, water solubility and low cost make it an ideal short-term rust inhibitor. It is also used as chemical raw material for glass and ceramic industry.

Properties Suppliers
Stannous Chloride

Stannous Chloride is widely used as a reducing agent and in electrolytic baths for tin-plating, mordant in textile dyeing, color-retention agent and antioxidant, anti-caking agent in food industry. It is also used as chemical raw material for glass and ceramic industry.

Properties Suppliers
Vanadium Pentoxide

Vanadium Pentoxide supplied by Stratcor, Inc is a high-quality chemical which is the most stable and common compound of vanadium. It is a poisonous orange solid which, because of its high oxidation state, is both an amphoteric oxide and an oxidizing agent. Vanadium Pentoxide is used a raw material for the production of ceramic pigments and frits and for coloration /decoloration of glass. It is used as a catalyst for the production of sulphuric and adipic acid. Buy Vanadium Pentoxide online to get the chemical at an affordable price and superior quality.

Suppliers
Potassium Dichromate

Potassium dichromate is a common inorganic chemical reagent, most commonly used as an oxidizing agent in various laboratory and industrial applications. It can be used for cleaning glassware and etching materials and it is used as an ingredient in cement in which it retards the setting of the mixture and improves its density and texture. It is also used to tan leather which is used for footwear. It has important uses in photography and in photographic screen printing, where it is used as an oxidizing agent together with a strong mineral acid.
