Neodymium oxide is kind of light blue rare earth oxide powder, which turns dark blue after damping. Industrial grade is brown. It tends to damp and absorb carbon dioxide in air. Applications

Neodymium trioxide mainly apply as colorant of glass and ceramic. It is also raw material for metal neodymium and strong magnetic Nd-Fe-B.

Adding 1.5%~2.5% nano neodymium oxide in magnesium alloys or aluminum alloys can enhance their high-temperature property, gas tightness and corrosion resistance. They are widely used as aerospace material.
