CELLOSIZE Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is a nonionic, water-soluble polymer that can thicken, suspend, bind, emulsify, form films, stabilize, disperse, retain water, and provide protective colloid action. MID-C301 is a synthetic polymer used to control filtrate loss in all cement Slurries. It has minor retardation properties when used at low temperatures. This additive can be added to dry cement or the mix water.

MID-C301 can be used in fresh water and sea water slurries and can be applied in wells with temperatures between 80 to 200 ℉.

The recommended concentration is 0.5% to 1.2% (BWOC) depending on slurry’s weight, well’s temperature and solids to water ratio.
