Nickel Monoxide

Nickel monoxide is a chemical compound. It has a variety of specialized applications and generally applications distinguish between "chemical", which is relatively pure material for specialty applications, and "metallurgical grade", which is mainly used for the production of alloys. It is used in the ceramic industry to make frits, ferrites, and porcelain glazes. The sintered oxide is used to produce nickel steel alloys. Charles Édouard Guillaume won the 1920 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on nickel steel alloys which he called invar and elinvar. It was also a component in the Nickel-iron battery, also known as the Edison Battery, and is a component in fuel cells. It is the precursor to many nickel salts, for use as specialty chemicals and catalysts. More recently, NiO was used to make the NiCd rechargeable batteries found in many electronic devices until the development of the environmentally superior Lithium Ion battery.

Properties Suppliers
Nickel Nitrate

Nickel Nitrate is the chemical compound. Nickel compounds are used in plating, coloring ceramics, making some batteries, and as chemical reaction catalysts.

Properties Suppliers
PHONOSORB

PHONOSORB adsorbents for insulating glass (IG) are specifically engineered to help maintain window quality, performance, and long-term reliability. Choosing Grace IG adsorbents offers peace of mind against material failure compared to cheaper alternatives which are made with clay or other materials instead of 3A zeolite synthetic molecular sieves.

Properties Suppliers
Phosphorus

Phosphorus is a multivalent nonmetal of the nitrogen group. It is a component of DNA, RNA, ATP, and also the phospholipids that form all cell membranes. It is thus an essential element for all living cells, and organisms tend to accumulate and concentrate it. Today, the most important commercial use of phosphorus-based chemicals is the production of fertilizers, to replace the phosphorus that plants remove from the soil. It is widely used to make organophosphorus compounds. It is also an important component in steel production, in the making of phosphor bronze, and in many other related products. Phosphates are utilized in the making of special glasses that are used for sodium lamps.

Properties Suppliers
Polyacrylic Acid

Polyacrylic Acid is innoxious and soluble in water, it can be used in situations of alkaline and high concentration without scale sediment. It can disperse the microcrystals or microsand of calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and calcium sulfate. It is used as scale inhibitor and dispersant for circulating cool water system, papermaking, weave, dyeing, ceramic, painting, etc.

Properties Suppliers
Polyvinylpyrrolidone

Polyvinylpyrrolidone is a water-soluble polymer made from the monomer N-vinylpyrrolidone. It was used as a blood plasma expander. It is used as a binder in many pharmaceutical tablets. It is also used as additive for batteries, ceramics, fiberglass, inks, inkjet paper and in the chemical-mechanical planarization process, use in aqueous metal quenching, for production of membranes, such as dialysis and water purification filters.

Properties Suppliers
Potassium Carbonate

Potassium carbonate is a white salt, soluble in water which forms a strongly alkaline solution. It can be made as the product of potassium hydroxide's absorbent reaction with carbon dioxide. It is deliquescent, often appearing a damp or wet solid. Potassium carbonate is used in the production of soap and glass.

Properties Suppliers
Potassium Dichromate

Potassium dichromate is a common inorganic chemical reagent, most commonly used as an oxidizing agent in various laboratory and industrial applications. It can be used for cleaning glassware and etching materials and it is used as an ingredient in cement in which it retards the setting of the mixture and improves its density and texture. It is also used to tan leather which is used for footwear. It has important uses in photography and in photographic screen printing, where it is used as an oxidizing agent together with a strong mineral acid.

Properties Suppliers
Potassium Nitrate

Potassium nitrate occurs as a mineral niter and is a natural solid source of nitrogen. Major uses of potassium nitrate are in fertilizers, rocket propellants and fireworks. It is also used as a food additive. It is also commonly used in the heat treatment of metals as a solvent in the post-wash. The oxidizing, water solubility and low cost make it an ideal short-term rust inhibitor. It is also used as chemical raw material for glass and ceramic industry.

Properties Suppliers
Potassium Sulfate

Potassium Sulfate a chemical compound is an odorless white crystalline salt with the formula K2SO4. It is produced by the reaction between potassium chloride and sulfuric acid. Major potassium sulfate uses are an ingredient in textile products, cosmetic, personal care, detergents and in pulp and paper processing.
