Triallate belongs to the thiocarbamate chemical class. It is a pre-emergence selective herbicide used to control grass weeds in field and pulse crops.
Triclopyr, a pyridine, is a selective systemic herbicide used for control of woody and broadleaf plants along rights-of-way, in forests, on industrial lands, and on grasslands and parklands.
Uragan WG is used for the control of certain annual broadleaved weeds and grasses in Citrus, Pineapples, Asparagus and in Commercial and Industrial areas.
Vernolate is a thiocarbamate compound used as a selective soil-incorporated herbicide. It is toxic to germinating broadleaf and grassy weeds. Vernolate is also used to control weeds in soybeans, peanuts and sweet potatoes.
Zoliar DF is used for selective residual control of grass and broadleaf weeds in cotton, citrus, gapes, nuts pome and stone fruit.
Acetochlor is a herbicide developed by Monsanto Company and Zeneca. It is a member of the class of herbicides known as chloroacetanilides. Its mode of action is elongase inhibition, and inhibition of geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate cyclisation enzymes, part of the gibberellin pathway. It carries high risks of environmental contamination. It is used to control weeds in corn, and is particularly useful as a replacement for atrazine in the case of some important weeds.
Aminoz 625 is used for the control broadleaf weeds in fallow before direct drilling or sowing of cereals and pastures; and in cereal crops, pastures, sugar cane, peanuts and non-agricultural areas.
Boxer Gold is used for the control of Annual Ryegrass and Toad Rush in barley and wheat.
Bromoxynil is a nitrile herbicide, which is distributed as a Restricted Use Pesticide in toxicity class II (moderately toxic), and not available for homeowner use. It is used for post-emergent control of annual broadleaf weeds. It is especially effective in the control of weeds in cereal, corn, sorghum, onions, flax, mint, turf, and on non-cropland. It works by inhibiting photosynthesis.Bromoxynil decomposes readily in soil, with a half life of approximately two weeks. Persistence increases in soils with elevated clay or organic matter content, suggesting the compound has somewhat limited bioavailability to microorganisms in these environments. Under aerobic conditions in soils or pure cultures, products of bromoxynil degradation often retain the original bromine groups. The herbicide, and
Bronco 200 is used for control of broadleaf weeds in cereals, linseed, lucerne, pastures and turf.
