Suppliers
Dibenzylamine

Dibenzylamine find applications predominately in the rubber processing industry. It is used to prepare rubber accelerator for the vulcanization process and reaction-stoppers. Dibenzylamine type accelerators reduce nitrosamine production in the compounding process. It is used in other industries also.

Properties Suppliers
Diethyl Ether

Diethyl Ether was first synthesized in 1540 by Valerius Cordus, and he termed as - sweet oil of vitriol. Diethyl ether is an extremely flammable organic solvent with many uses. Diethyl ether was one of the first anesthetics developed for surgical use, but has since been replaced by less flammable chemicals. Diethyl ether is commonly used as an industrial or laboratory solvent. It has narcotic properties and has been known to cause temporary psychological addiction, sometimes referred to as etheromania. Diethyl ether is particularly important as a solvent in the production of cellulose plastics such as cellulose acetate, fats, waxes, resins and similar substances. Diethyl ether has a high cetane number of 85-96 and is used as a starting fluid, in combination with petroleum distillates for gasoline and diesel engines. It is a common laboratory solvent. It is also a common solvent for the Grignard reaction in addition to other reactions involving organometallic reagents, liniments and analgesics (painkillers) and smokeless gun powder. It is also used in agricultural and pharmaceutical applications, as an intermediate in the preparation and manufacturing of other basic organic chemicals, as a catalyst in industrial polymerization processes, as an alternative fuel, as a foam expansion agent, and as an aerosol propellant for a variety of products that include adhesives, sealants, foam in a can, coatings, paints, automotive care products, topical skin cooling sprays, over the counter treatments, hairspray, sun screen and a variety of other personal care and household products. Diethyl ether can be prepared both in laboratories and on an industrial scale by the acid ether synthesis.

Properties Suppliers
Dimethylamine

Dimethylamine is an organic compound. This secondary amine is a colorless, flammable liquified gas with an ammonia-like odor. It is a precursor to several industrially significant compounds. It reacts with carbon disulfide to give dimethyldithiocarbamate, a precursor to a family of chemicals widely used in the vulcanization of rubber. The solvents dimethylformamide and dimethylacetamide are derived from dimethylamine. It is raw material for the production of many agrichemicals and pharmaceuticals, such as dimefox and diphenhydramine, respectively. The surfactant lauryl dimethylamine oxide is found in soaps and cleaning compounds. Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine, a rocket fuel, is prepared from dimethylamine.

Properties Suppliers
Dioctyl Ether

Dioctyl ether is used as anti-static agent, lubricant, electrical insulator, and water repellent.

Properties Suppliers
Enviro Gel™

Enviro Gel™ is a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petroleum based nozzle gels. It provides protection against weld spatter on M.I.G. gun nozzles, contact tips, positioners, stud welding chucks and electrode holders on all automatic and semi-automatic welding apparatus.

Properties Suppliers
Enviro Spat®

Enviro Spat® is a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to solvent based anti-spatter. It prevents weld spatter from adhering to M.I.G. gun nozzles, contact tips and related accessories and also allows for pre-heat and higher temperature applications. It is recommended for water based paints. It contains no chlorinated solvents, fluorocarbons, silicones or hydrocarbon compounds.

Properties Suppliers
Ethyl Bromide

Ethyl bromide is a chemical compound of the haloalkanes group. It is used in organic synthesis as a solvent and also used as a pharmaceutical intermediate.

Properties Suppliers
Ethyl Lactate

Ethyl lactate is a monobasic ester formed from lactic acid and ethanol, commonly used as a solvent. This compound is considered biodegradable and can be used as a water-rinsible degreaser. Due to its relatively low toxicity, ethyl lactate is used commonly in pharmaceutical preparations, food additives and fragrances. It is also used as solvent for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, and cellulose ethers. Ethyl lactate hydrolyzes in the presence of water and acids or bases into lactic acid and ethanol. It can be used as a cosolvent to produce suitable conditions for the formation of aryl aldimines.
