Bismuth Citrate is the bismuth salt of citric acid. In cosmetics and personal care products, Bismuth Citrate is used in the formulation of hair coloring products used on the scalp. Bismuth Citrate helps to impart a color to hair. The exact color obtained will depend on the other ingredients that are used in the preparation and the starting color of the hair. Bismuth Citrate is the bismuth salt of citric acid. Bismuth is a brittle metal with a pinkish hue. It occurs naturally in the Earth’s crust and is about twice as abundant as gold.
Calcium bromide is the calcium salt of hydrobromic acid. It can be found in drilling fluids, neuroses medication, freezing mixtures, food preservatives, photography and fire retardants.
Calcium citrate is the calcium salt of citric acid. It is commonly used as a food additive, usually as a preservative, but sometimes for flavor. In this sense, it is similar to sodium citrate. Calcium citrate is also used as a water softener because the citrate ions can chelate unwanted metal ions. Calcium citrate is also found in some dietary calcium supplements.
Calcium formate, is the calcium salt of formic acid. It is used as a food additive. The mineral form is very rare and called formicaite. It is known from a few boron deposits. It may be produced synthetically by reacting calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide with formic acid.
Calcium Lactate is a white crystalline salt made by the action of lactic acid on calcium carbonate. It is used in foods and given medicinally. It is often found in aged cheeses. Small crystals of it precipitate out when lactic acid is converted into a less soluble form by the bacteria active during the ripening process. In medicine, it is most commonly used as an antacid and also to treat calcium deficiencies.
Calcium nitrate is an inorganic compound. It absorbs moisture from the air and is commonly found as a tetrahydrate. It is mainly used as a component in fertilizers. It is used as a source of calcium and nitrate-nitrogen for crops.
Copper sulphate exists as a series of compounds that differ in their degree of hydration. It is utilized chiefly for agricultural purposes, as a pesticide, germicide, feed additive, and soil additive. It is used in swimming pools as an algaecide. Several chemical tests utilize copper sulfate. It is used in Fehling's solution and Benedict's solution to test for reducing sugars, which reduce the soluble blue copper(II) sulfate to insoluble red copper(I) oxide. It is also used in the Biuret reagent to test for proteins.
D(+)-Malic Acid used in many fields including chiral pharmaceuticals, chiral additives and chiral auxiliaries, food industries.
Dichloromethane is an organic compound. It was first prepared in 1840 by the French chemist Henri Victor Regnault, who isolated it from a mixture of chloromethane and chlorine that had been exposed to sunlight. It is widely used as a paint stripper and a degreaser. In the food industry, it has been used to decaffeinate coffee and tea as well as to prepare extracts of hops and other flavorings. Its volatility has led to its use as an aerosol spray propellant and as a blowing agent for polyurethane foams. It is also used extensively by model building hobbyists for joining plastic components together. It is also used in the garment printing industry for removal of heat-sealed garment transfers.
Dimethylaniline is an organic chemical compound, a substituted derivative of aniline. It consists of a tertiary amine, featuring dimethylamino group attached to a phenyl group. It is an important precursor to dyes such as Crystal violet. It serves as a promoter in the curing of polyester and vinyl ester resins. It is also used as a precursor to other organic compounds.
