Potassium Thiocyanate

Potassium thiocyanate is an important salt of the thiocyanate anion, one of the pseudohalides. Dilute aqueous potassium thiocyanate is occasionally used for moderately realistic blood effects in film and theater. It can be painted onto a surface or kept as a colorless solution. When in contact with ferric chloride solution, the product of the reaction is a solution with a blood red colour, due to the formation of the thiocyanatoiron complex ion. Thus this chemical is often used to create the effect of 'stigmata'. Because both solutions are colorless, they can be placed separately on each hand. When the hands are brought into contact, the solutions react and the effect looks remarkably like stigmata. Similarly, this reaction is used as a test for Fe3+ in the laboratory.

Silver Nitrate 99.9%

Silvery sulfide is light ash black heavy powder, which is noble metal sulfide. It is insoluble in water and ammonium hydroxide, however soluble in nitric acid, sulfuric acid and alkaline cyanide solutions. β-Ag2S is ash black orthogonal crystal with relative density 7.326, which turns into α-Ag2S at 175℃. α-Ag2S is black cubic crystal with relative density 7.317 and melting point 825℃. Concentrated H2SO4 can transform Ag2S into silver sulfate and sulfur. Disilver sulphide is stable at room temperature and pressure, but it turns out filiform silver metal when heating above 350℃ in vacuum. If heating in air directly, silver(I) sulfide tend to oxidize into silver sulphate. Silver(I) oxide or silver nitrate is the raw material.

Sodium Cobaltinitrite

Sodium lauryl sulfate is an anionic surfactant used in many cleaning and hygiene products.It has a tail of 12 carbon atoms, attached to a sulfate group, giving the molecule the amphiphilic properties It is a highly effective surfactant and is used in any task requiring the removal of oily stains and residues.It is used in lower concentrations with toothpastes, shampoos, and shaving foams. It is an important component in bubble bath formulations for its thickening effect and its ability to create a lather. In medicine, sodium lauryl sulfate is used rectally as a laxative in enemas, and as an excipient.

Sodium Metabisulphite

Sodium metabisulfite is an inorganic compound. It is used as a preservative and antioxidant in food. It may cause allergic reactions in those who are sensitive to sulfites, including respiratory reactions in asthmatics, anaphylaxis and other allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. It is commonly used in homebrewing and winemaking to sanitize equipment. It is used as a cleaning agent for potable water reverse osmosis membranes in desalination systems. It is also used to remove chloramine from drinking water after treatment. It is used in photography. It is also used as an excipient in some tablets, such as paracetamol.

Tetrafluoroboric Acid

Tetrafluoroboric acid is used as a catalyst in alkylations and polymerizations.It is also used as the electrolyte in the cathode treatment of the tin plating process.

Zirconium Powder 99%

Zirconium metal is available in form of powders, chunks, ingots, lumps, pieces, sheets, foils, particles, slugs, cylinders, rods, cubes and targets. It is light gray metal or gray amorphous powder, which is insoluble in water, but soluble in hot concentrated acid, hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia and concentrated sulfuric acid. However the purity of zirconium lump reach 99.9%. Fine zirconium wires can be ignited by match. At high temperature, it can compound with oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen.

Zirconium is attractive to oxygen, which could take away oxygen from magnesium oxide, beryllium oxide and thorium oxide and form ZrO2 itself. It owns strong hydrogen absorption property. The maximum hydrogen absorption capacity is equal to ZrH1.93, which can be raw material hydrogen storage material. If the hydrogen absorption capacity is higher than the hydrogen content of ZrH,  the brittleness of zirconium increase, which is easy to process powder. Zirconium owns good corrosion  resistance to diluted hydrochloric acid and dilute sulphuric acid. Its corrosion resistance is better than tantalum metal when mix with 50% NaOH soluation. So it gets great prospect in chemical industry. With 2% Hafnium in zirconium, it wouldn’t affect the corrosion resistance, however it should separate Hf when Zr act as clad material of nuclear reactor material parts.

Zirconium powder is for preparation of nuclear industry, corrosion resistance alloy, flashlight and fireworks. It also apply to deoxidizing agent for metallurgy and chemical reagents.

The standard size of zirconium slugs are 1.2*3.5mm, 2*3mm and 1.5mm*3mm. The thick of zirconium foils are 0.2mm and 0.3mm usually. However other sizes could be customizable. Both two products are for vacuum coating, which are sputtering targets.

Zirconium alloy (ZrTh, ZrMg) is light and high-temperature resistance, which could be raw material for aircraft.
