Acebutolol is a beta blocker for the treatment of hypertension and arrhythmias. The drug has lipophilic properties, and therefore crosses the Blood-Brain Barrier. Acebutolol has no negative impact on serum lipids.
Acemetacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, used for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lower back pain, and relieving post-operative pain. It is a glycolic acid ester of indometacin, acts as a prodrug. In the body, it is metabolized to indometacin, which then acts as an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase, producing the anti-inflammatory effects. An advantage of acemetacin is that it reduces gastric damage when compared to indometacin.

Alprazolam belongs to a group of drugs called benzodiazepines (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peens). It works by slowing down the movement of chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression. Alprazolam is available for oral administration in compressed tablet (CT) and extended-release capsule (XR) formulations. Alprazolam possesses anxiolytic, sedative, hypnotic, skeletal muscle relaxant, anticonvulsant, and amnestic properties. Alprazolam is classified as a schedule IV controlled substance by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Alprazolam may also be indicated for the treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder, as well as for the treatment of anxiety conditions with co-morbid depression. Alprazolam is also often prescribed with instances of hypersomnia and co-morbid sleep deficits. It however is not a first line treatment, since the development of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, and alprazolam is no longer recommended for the treatment of panic disorder due to concerns regarding tolerance, dependence and abuse.
