Pyroligneous acid, also called wood vinegar, is a dark liquid produced through the natural act of carbonization, which occurs when wood is heated in an airless container during charcoal production. It has been promoted as a natural aid for various uses including detoxification, mild pain relief, and to sterilize and promote healing of minor wounds.
Zinc acetate is the chemical compound with pearly-white crystals appearance. It is used as a catalyst in the production of polyesters, polyamides, polyether and vinyl acetate, used in the manufacture of acrylic emulsions, phenolic foam for thermal insulation. It also be used as a PVC blowing agent, a wood preservative, in textile dyeing, as well as in the waterproofing of textiles, paper and leather, antibiotics, insulin, creams and lotions and in mouth rinses.
Zinc citrate can be formulated in pharmaceuticals, and foods as a zinc supplement. It is used as an ingredient to treat common cold and various hygienic products. Zinc inhibits the growth of bacteria in the throat and can be used in toothpaste.
Zinc lactate is a white crystalline compound which is used as an additive in toothpaste, food and preparation of drugs.
Zinc Laurate is a type of metallic stearates. It is widely used in preparation of pharma intermediates and cosmetics.
A clear colorless to yellow liquid with a bitter almond odor. Flash point near 145°F. More denser than water and insoluble in water. Hence sinks in water. Vapors are heavier than air. The primary hazard is to the environment. Immediate steps should be taken to limit spread to the environment. Easily penetrates the soil to contaminate groundwater and nearby waterways. Used in flavoring and perfume making.
n-Butylamine is an organic compound. This colourless liquid is one of the four isomeric amines of butane, the others being sec-butylamine, tert-butylamine and isobutylamine. At standard temperature and pressure, n-butylamine is a liquid having the fishy, ammonia-like odor common to amines. The liquid acquires a yellow colour upon storage in air. It is soluble in all organic solvents. This compound is used as an ingredient in the manufacture of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and emulsifiers. It is also a precursor for the manufacture of N,N'-dibutylthiourea, a rubber vulcanization accelerator, and n-butylbenzenesulfonamide, a plasticizer of nylon.
1-Adamantanol is used as a reagent in pharmaceuticals.
1-Bromobutane is a primary alkyl halide. It is commonly used as an alkylating agent, or in combination with magnesium metal in dry ether to form carbon-carbon bonds. 1-Bromobutane may also be used to form other organometallic compounds, such as n-butyllithium.
