Acid red 1

Acid Red 1 is a synthetic red azo dye. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. Acid Red 1 usually comes as a disodium salt of 8-acetamido-1-hydroxy-2-phenylazonaphthalene-3,6 disulphonate. It is also used as a dye for coatings, inks, paper, crepe paper, and fine tissue. Acid Red 1 is one of the colourants that the Hyperactive Children's Support Group recommends be eliminated from the diet of children.

Acid red 18

Acid dyes are water-soluble dyes employed mostly in the form of sodium salts of the sulfonic or carboxylic acids. They are anionic which attach strongly to cationic groups in the fibre directly. They can be applicable to all kind of natural fibres like wool, cotton and silk as well as to synthetics like polyesters, acrylic and rayon. They are also used in paints, inks, plastics and leather.

Properties Suppliers
Aconitic Acid

Aconitic acid is an organic acid. The two isomers are cis-aconitic acid and trans-aconitic acid. Aconitic acid can be synthesized by dehydration of citric acid using sulfuric acid.

Acralen BS

Acralen BS is an aqueous emulsion of a self-crosslinking styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. It is insoluble in water and resistant to many acids and alkalis. It is virtually insoluble in organic solvents.ACRALEN BS can be thickened by means of thickener emulsions (e. g.ROHAGIT SD 15), thickener solutions (acrylate thickener solutions) and cellulose or starch derivatives to provide printing, nip-padding and coating compounds.

Properties Suppliers
Acrylic Acid

Acrylic acid is an organic compound. It is the simplest unsaturated carboxylic acid, consisting of a vinyl group connected directly to a carboxylic acid terminus. Acrylic acid and its esters readily combine with themselves or other monomers by reacting at their double bond, forming homopolymers or copolymers which are used in the manufacture of various plastics, coatings, adhesives, elastomers, as well as floor polishes, and paints.

Properties Suppliers
Acrylonitrile

Acrylonitrile is a colorless liquid with pungent-smell .It is an important monomer for the manufacture of useful plastics.Acrylonitrile is used principally as a monomer in the manufacture of synthetic polymers, especially polyacrylonitrile which comprises acrylic fibers. Acrylic fibers are, among other uses, precursor for well-known carbon-fiber. It is also a component of synthetic rubber. Dimerization of acrylonitrile affords adiponitrile, used in the synthesis of certain Nylons. Small amounts are also used as a fumigant.

Acrylonitrile Styrene (AS or SAN)

Styrene acrylonitrile resin is a copolymer plastic consisting of styrene and acrylonitrile. It is also known as SAN. It is widely used in place of polystyrene owing to its greater thermal resistance. The chains of the polymer show alternating repeat units of styrene and acrylonitrile, and it is a copolymer. The relative composition is typically between 70 and 80% styrene and 20 to 30% acrylonitrile. Larger acrylonitrile content improves mechanical properties and chemical resistance, but also adds a yellow tint to the normally transparent plastic.

Properties Suppliers
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Copolymer

Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Copolymer is a family of unsaturated copolymers. It is used to create moulded goods, footwear, adhesives, sealants, sponge, and floor mats.

Properties Suppliers
Acryloyl Chloride

Acryloyl chloride is a flammable liquid with an acrid smell. It belongs to the acid chlorides group of compounds and is therefore a derivative of acrylic acid. Acryloyl chloride is most commonly employed in organic synthesis for the introduction of acrylic moieties into other compounds and it is also used extensively in the preparation of acrylate monomers and polymers.

Properties Suppliers
Actafoam 780

Actafoam 780 is a chemical foaming agent used in the production of cellular polymer products. Actafoam 780 may be used in both plastics and rubber applications. Plastic materials that may be foamed with Actafoam 780 include standard and metallocene polyolefins, various thermoplastic elastomers, and soft, low-melting vinyl formulations.
