Terathane 1000

Terathane 1000 is a waxy white solid, hygroscopic, polytetramethylene etherglycol, and it is composed of blend of linear diols in which the hydroxyl groups are separated by repeating tetramethylene ether groups. Used in polyurethane adhesives, sealants and gaskets. Terathane 1000 is having good characteristics like hydrolysis, microbe, abrasion and low-temperature resistance, very good dynamic properties such as high resilience, low specific gravity and low viscosity. It finds applications in the sectors like automotive (seals, gaskets and adhesives), adhesives and sealants (shoes, laminated security glazing, aerospace, marine and magnetic media binders) and engineered components (seals and gaskets).

Properties Suppliers
Vinyl Chloride

Vinyl chloride is the organochloride. It is an important industrial chemical chiefly used to produce the polymer polyvinyl chloride. It is a highly toxic, flammable and carcinogenic. It is used primarily as monomer, for the production of vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer resins.

Properties Suppliers

HDPE MP6020-100 is a bimodal molecular structure compound classified as PE100 – hexane copolymer. It’s a high density polyethylene contains 2.2 % well dispersed carbon black class A to ensure outstanding weather resistance, provides high tensile strength with high resistance against fast and slow crack propagation.
The added carbon black type is less sensitive to moisture despite the hygroscopic behavior due to its fine particle size. It also shows a very high impact resistance throughout its entire temperature range combined with an acute resistance to fracture which is a significant advantage in applications where temperature is very low so it can be used at temperatures ranging from -50 oC to 60 oC.

propionic acid

Propionic acid is used as a preservative in feed and food industry directly or in the forms of ammonium propionate, calcium and sodium propionates. It is used to manufacture various propionates which used in the production of pharmaceuticals, antifungal agents, agrochemicals, plastics, plasticizers, rubber chemicals, dyes, artificial flavors and perfumery synthetics. It is used also as a solvent and in nickel-electroplating solutions.

2-Chlorostyrene is a chlorinated derivative of styrene. It is used in the manufacture of polychlorostyrene which is a clear, colorless plastic with good foaming, heat distortion and flame-retardant properties.

2-Ethyl Hexanol

2-Ethyl Hexanol is a branched,eight-carbon, fatty alcohol. It is a colorless liquid that is poorly soluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents. It is produced on a massive scale for use in numerous applications such as solvents, flavors, and fragrances and especially as a precursor for production of other chemicals such as emollients and plasticizers. 2-Ethyl Hexanol can also be used as an octane booster when reacted with nitric acid. 2-Ethyl Hexanol is produced industrially by the aldol condensation of n-butyraldehyde, followed by hydrogenation of the resulting hydroxyaldehyde. It is also used as dispersing agent for pigment pastes. It is used in the production of plasticisers, acrylates, as a solvent in the paint and varnishes industries, as a wetting agent in textile industry, as a agent which improve cetane number in refining industry, it is also used in production of coat forming agents and antifoam agents.
