CYLINK NBMA 801 is a polymer properties it imparts are improved water and solvent resistance, improved adhesion, improved tensile strength, flexibility, resistance to blocking and good hand properties. It is used in both emulsion and solvent polymerization, in textiles and nonwovens where ultra low formaldehyde levels are required. In coatings enhances scratch resistance and imparts superior water and solvent resistance. It also improves water and solvent resistance in adhesives. CYLINK NBMA 801 can be used as reactive diluents in radiation curing systems.

Methacrylic acid is an organic compound. It is soluble in warm water and miscible with most organic solvents. Methacrylic acid is produced industrially on a large scale as a precursor to its esters, especially methyl methacrylate (MMA) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA).
