Vydyne 65B is a medium-high-viscosity resin used for extrusion-compounding. It is desirable to include this neat resin in a formulation in which the melt strength of the final product is critical for the application.Vydyne 65B exhibits good initial color and it has a moisture level below 0.1%. Resistance of Vydyne 65B to heat, oil and wear is typical of PA66 neat resins.
Vydyne 66B is an unreinforced extrusion-grade PA66 resin. Available in natural color, it offers high strength, rigidity and toughness for a broad range of demanding application requirements. Vydyne extrusion-grade resins provide good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, machine and motor oils, solvents and gasoline. Vydyne 66B resin is a high-viscosity PA66 product developed for applications that require melt strength. Vydyne 66B is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories.
Vydyne 66J is an unreinforced extrusion grade nylon 66 resin. It is available in natural color and offers high strength, rigidity, and toughness for a broad range of demanding application requirements. Vydyne extrusion grade resins provide good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, solvents, gasoline, and machine and motor oils.Vydyne 66J Resins are heat-stabilized for added resistance to elevated temperature use. The high viscosity of Vydyne 66J allows for a very stable and easily controlled melt extrudate.
Vydyne 66R is a member of a family of unreinforced extrusion grade Nylon 66 resins. It is available in natural color only. These resins offer high strength, rigidity, and toughness for a broad range of demanding application requirements. Vydyne extrusion grade resins provide good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, solvents, gasoline, and machine and motor oils. Vydyne 66R Heat stabilized for added resistance to elevated Vydyne 66R Heat stabilized for added resistance to elevated temperature use over extended periods. The high viscosity of Vydyne 66R allows for a very stable and easily controlled melt extrudate. Vydyne 66R contains a slip agent to provide improved machine feed and improved lubricity in extruded applications.Vydyne 66R can be fabricated into film, monofilament, bristle, tubing, rod, profiles, and sheet for use in automotive and industrial applications. It is particularly useful in blown film applications.
Vydyne 67B is a member of a family of unreinforced extrusion grade Nylon 66 resins from Ascend Performance Materials. It is available in natural color. The Vydyne family of extrusion grade Nylon 66 resins include low, medium, intermediate and high viscosity resins. These resins offer high tensile strength, rigidity and toughness over a broad range of demanding applications. Vydyne extrusion grade resins provide good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, solvents, gasoline and lubricating oils. Vydyne 67B is a very high molecular weight grade developed to provide high and controlled melt strength. The high viscosity of Vydyne 67B allows for a very stable and easily controlled melt extrudate.Vydyne 67B can be fabricated into film, monofilament, bristle, tubing, rod, profiles; and sheet for use in automotive and industrial applications. It is particularly useful in profile applications.
Vydyne 88X is a medium-viscosity PA66/6 random copolymer used for extrusion-compounding. It provides benefits for compounds containing heat-sensitive additives and for end applications that require good surface finish. This copolymer is specifically designed to be used with FR packages and high mineral loadings. Vydyne 88X is the product of choice for low-yellowness-required applications. Vydyne 88X maintains the chemical resistance typical of PA66/6 to many chemicals, machine and motor oils, solvents and gasoline.
Vydyne 909 series are 25% glass fiber reinforced, ignition resistant nylon 6,6 resins with UL 94V-0 flammability ratings. Lubricated for machine feed and easy mold release. Vydyne 909 series resins are modified with halogenated and other flame retardant additives to provide users with a product that meets Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 94V-0 flammability classifications down to thicknesses of 0.03 inches and 95-5VA thicknesses down to 0.06 inches. Vydyne 909 series resins are designed for use in high performance applications requiring high rigidity and strength in addition to U.L. 94V-0 flammability classification. Vydyne 909 series resins provide good toughness for high quality, crack-resistant molded parts, efficient regrind utilization and good melting resistance to soldering operations. These properties make it a candidate to replace glass/FR polyesters and thermosets, such as phenolics or ureas, in many applications. The combination of 94V-0 flammability characteristics and high rigidity and strength makes Vydyne 909 series resins ideal for appliance, electrical/electronic and industrial applications. Typical applications include fire sprinkler system components, television tuner parts and casings, electrical connectors, terminal strips/blocks, circuit board standoffs, circuit breakers, switch components, relays, coil forms, business machine/computer components and electrical spacers, rings, receptacles and housings.
