Plexar extrudable adhesive tie-layer resins are anhydride-modified polyolefins that bond dissimilar polymers together, primarily in multi-layer, co-extruded structures. Plexar resins offer a broad array of products based on many polyolefin polymers and provide excellent adhesion to many polar and non-polar materials including EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol), polyamide (nylon), ionomer, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, co-polyester, polyurethane poly-vinylidene chloride (PVdC), epoxy coatings, glass/silica, wood/cellulose and various foil (metal) surfaces.
Aniline is an organic compound. Aniline was first isolated by destructive distillation of indigo by Otto Unverdorben. Aniline is the prototypical aromatic amine. Its main use is in the manufacture of precursors to polyurethane. Aniline is mainly produced in industry in two steps from benzene. First, benzene is nitrated using a concentrated mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric acid at 50 to 60 °C, which gives nitrobenzene. In the second step, the nitrobenzene is hydrogenated, typically at 200–300 °C in presence of various metal catalysts. Aniline reacts with carboxylic acids or more readily with acyl chlorides such as acetyl chloride to give amides. Aniline and its ring-substituted derivatives react with nitrous acid to form diazonium salts. It reacts with nitrobenzene to produce phenazine in the Wohl-Aue reaction.
CYCOLOY resins are amorphous polycarbonate/acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (PC/ABS) blends which combine the most desirable properties of both resins. It is having properties of excellent impact resistance, heat resistance, and outstanding aesthetics.CYCOLOY resin blends have an excellent fit in automotive and telecommunications applications and in business machine housings.
Decalin, a bicyclic organic compound, is an industrial solvent. A colorless liquid with an aromatic odor, it is used as a solvent for many resins or fuel additive. It is the saturated analog of naphthalene and can be prepared from it by hydrogenation in a fused state in the presence of a catalyst.
GAL -SL is based on high performance epoxy resin & curing agents. GAL - SL is a three-component system, Containing of resin, curing agent and carefully graded iron free fillers. Product is self-levelling to achieve excellent gloss, attractive, hygienic and very hardwearing & chemical resistant finish.GAL -SL is highly recommended, for use, for extremely hygienic condition, chemical resistant and dust free areas.
GAYFANE, the standard corro-proof epoxy resin base cement is non-porous, thermo-setting and nontoxic in nature.GAYFANE is not recommended for strong alkalise, oxidizing agents and applications where the temperatures exceed 150°c.
Lithium is a metal that belongs to the alkali metal group of chemical elements. Under standard conditions it is the lightest metal and the least dense solid element. Lithium and its compounds have several industrial applications, including heat-resistant glass and ceramics, high strength-to-weight alloys used in aircraft, lithium batteries and lithium-ion batteries. Lithium niobate is used extensively in telecommunication products such as mobile phones and optical modulators, for such components as resonant crystals. Lithium is also used in the pharmaceutical and fine-chemical industry in the manufacture of organolithium reagents, which are used both as strong bases and as reagents for the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. Organolithium compounds are also used in polymer synthesis as catalysts/initiators in anionic polymerization of unfunctionalized olefins. Lithium compounds continue to be the gold standard for the treatment of bipolar disorder and are helpful for related diagnoses, such as schizoaffective disorder and cyclic major depression.
Nylon 6 is a polymer developed by Paul Schlack at IG Farben to reproduce the properties of nylon 6,6 without violating the patent on its production. Unlike most other nylons, nylon 6 is not a condensation polymer, but instead is formed by ring-opening polymerization. This makes it a special case in the comparison between condensation and addition polymers. Nylon 6 is used as thread in bristles for toothbrushes, surgical sutures, and strings for acoustic and classical musical instruments, including guitars, violins, violas, and cellos. It is also used in the manufacture of a large variety of threads, ropes, filaments, nets, and tire cords, as well as hosiery and knitted garments. It can also be used in gun frames, such as those used by Glock, which are made with a composite of Nylon 6 and other polymers. It has the potential to be used as a technical nutrient.
Rototuf brand of pre-colored resins allow for accurate color matching combined with consistent color production.
SP-1055 is a brominated octylphenol heat reactive resin used to cure rubber in pressure sensitive adhesives.
