Acrylonitrile

Acrylonitrile is a colorless liquid with pungent-smell .It is an important monomer for the manufacture of useful plastics.Acrylonitrile is used principally as a monomer in the manufacture of synthetic polymers, especially polyacrylonitrile which comprises acrylic fibers. Acrylic fibers are, among other uses, precursor for well-known carbon-fiber. It is also a component of synthetic rubber. Dimerization of acrylonitrile affords adiponitrile, used in the synthesis of certain Nylons. Small amounts are also used as a fumigant.

Properties Suppliers
Akrofax™ 57

Akrofax 57 is a white, medium-hard, vulcanized vegetable oil, made from pure rapeseed oil and mineral stabilizers. It is commonly used in erasers and other white or light colored applications.

Properties Suppliers
CAB-O-SIL H-5

CAB-O-SIL H-5 is high surface fumed silica which imparts a significant increase in the viscosity of liquid systems and in reinforcement of sealants and rubbers. CAB-O-SIL H-5 can be used to provide thickening, thixotrophic (shear-thinning), and anti-settling behavior in liquid systems. CAB-O-SIL H-5 can be used for reinforcement of silicone rubber and can be used to reinforce organic rubbers. It imparts good increase in hardness, tensile and elongation.

Properties Suppliers
Deogum VP 294

Deogum VP 294 is a processing additive based on organosilicone compounds for special elastomers such as FPM, HNBR, ACM, and ECO. It improves the flow properties and mold-filling by reducing the Mooney viscosity. It also eases the mold release and provides a smooth surface. It is suitable for high performance elastomers that are difficult to process.

Properties Suppliers
Deovulc ZO DL

Deovulc ZO DL is a vulcanization activator, mainly for natural rubber. It is added together with the filler, and can partly or fully replace stearic acid. It may also be used in dien-rubber other than natural rubber, except CR.

Properties Suppliers
Dibenzylamine

Dibenzylamine find applications predominately in the rubber processing industry. It is used to prepare rubber accelerator for the vulcanization process and reaction-stoppers. Dibenzylamine type accelerators reduce nitrosamine production in the compounding process. It is used in other industries also.

Properties Suppliers
Dimethylamine

Dimethylamine is an organic compound. This secondary amine is a colorless, flammable liquified gas with an ammonia-like odor. It is a precursor to several industrially significant compounds. It reacts with carbon disulfide to give dimethyldithiocarbamate, a precursor to a family of chemicals widely used in the vulcanization of rubber. The solvents dimethylformamide and dimethylacetamide are derived from dimethylamine. It is raw material for the production of many agrichemicals and pharmaceuticals, such as dimefox and diphenhydramine, respectively. The surfactant lauryl dimethylamine oxide is found in soaps and cleaning compounds. Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine, a rocket fuel, is prepared from dimethylamine.

Properties Suppliers
Diphenylamine

Diphenylamine is used as a pre or postharvest scald inhibitor for apples. Its anti-scald activity is the result of its antioxidant properties, which protect the apple skin from the oxidation products of alpha-farnesene during storage. They are used as "antiozinates" in the manufacture of rubber products, reflecting the antioxidant nature of aniline derivatives. With sulfur, it gives phenothiazine, a precursor to certain pharmaceuticals. Alkylated diphenylamines function as antioxidants in lubricants, approved for use in machines, in which contact with food is not ruled out.

Properties Suppliers
Duradene 751B

Duradene 751B is a solution polymerized; styrene-butadiene copolymer having 25% bound styrene, 37.5 phr of special high viscosity naphthenic oil and an efficient antioxidant stabilizer system. Duradene 751B provides the same excellent combination of properties for tire treads as Duradene 751.
