Dichlorosilane is a chemical compound.In its major use, it is mixed with ammonia (NH3) in LPCVD chambers to grow silicon nitride in semiconductor processing.Dichlorosilane was originally prepared in 1919 by the gas-phase reaction of monosilane, SiH4, with hydrogen chloride, HCl, and then reported by Stock and Somieski.It was found that in the gas phase, dichlorosilane will react with water vapor to give a gaseous monomeric prosiloxane, H2SiO.Dichlorosilane is used as a starting material for semiconducting silicon layers found in microelectronics. Dichlorosilane is used because it decomposes at a lower temperature and has a higher growth rate of silicon crystals.It is a chemically active gas, which will readily hydrolyze and self ignite in air. Dichlorosilane is also very toxic, and preventative measures must be used for any experiment involving the use of the chemical.
Dow Corning 24 Emulsion is a stable, water-dilutable emulsion suitable for the food processing industry. It produces a slippery film upon water evaporation of the product.
ESQUIM AD-256F is a cloudy, concentrated liquid silicone-based additive suitable for most water and UV-based formulations. It has excellent anti-foaming and defoaming properties at very low dosages and is approved for use in food contact applications under UE and FDA regulations. It is used concentrations between 0.05-0.5% of the final formulation and can be directly added at any stage during the manufacturing process.
ESQUIM DP-115A is a white to off-white, free-flowing, non-caking granular powder. It is a silicone-free anti-foaming agent developed to control the foam generated during the washing process. It is suitable for a wide range of surfactants, over a wide range of pH and washing temperatures. ESQUIM DP-115A is suitable in all those applications where foam or air occlusions are formed once the powdered dispersion is diluted with water. It is used concentrations between 0.1-1.0% of the end formulation. Due to the huge number of different foaming systems, It is recommended to be tested before using it on a production scale.
ESQUIM DP-138A is a silicone-based, white to off-white, free-flowing granular powder. It is an anti-foaming agent developed to control the foam in a wide range of different applications. Its non-caking granules are easy to incorporate by dry-mixing. It is suitable for a wide range of surfactants, over a wide range of pH and washing temperatures. All the components are listed in FDA and EU regulations to be used in food contact applications. ESQUIM DP-138A is suitable in all those applications where foam or air occlusions are formed once the powdered dispersion is diluted with water. SilSense DW-18 silicone is an easy to formulate product which may be used to impart the conditioning benefits of silicone to personal care products without contributing to greasiness or build-up that is normally associated with water-insoluble silicone fluids. SilSense DW-18 can stabilize emulsions,adds emolliency and conditioning to emulsion systems.
