Sodium metabisulfite or sodium pyrosulfite (IUPAC spelling; Br. E. sodium metabisulphite or sodium pyrosulphite) is an inorganic compound of chemical formula Na2S2O5. The name is sometimes referred to as disodium (metabisulfite, etc). It is used as a disinfectant, antioxidant and preservative agent.
Sodium vinyl-sulfonate is a polymerizable organic compound which has many industrial uses, particularly as an antistatic agent and as an agent improving the tinctorial affinity of synthetic fibres, such as polyacrylonitrile and polypropylene, to cationic dyes, as a dispersing agent in polymer emulsions, as a wetting agent for lowering the mixing water content of cement, as a starting material for the production of cation exchange resins and synthetic rubber.
Sorbitan Monopalmitate is used as a emulsifier for cosmetic formulations, household products and textile chemicals.
Wacker Finish CT 349 E is a nonionic micro emulsion of a modified aminosilicone fluid. It is particularly suitable as softener for the impregnation of fibers and textiles. It is considered to be the best softening agent for woven and knitted fabrics, made with cotton, polyester cotton, polyester and also for other blends.
