Digital Balanced Cell Colorimeter CL 650 is ideally suitable for all soil testing laboratories, agriculture laboratories, fertilizer plants where the need of KLET type colorimeter is essential. Digital Balanced Cell Colorimeter CL 650 incorporates LCD digital display instead of delicate balancing potentiometer and null meter. This instrument digital display has a scale of 0 to 1000 which is proportional to the concentration of the solution. The instrument is very easy to operate, accurate and robust. Digital Balanced Cell Colorimeter CL 650 has a bulit in power supply for the lamp and this light passes through a lenses and then to selected filter and test solution on to the sensitive photocell. The current generated by photo cell is then converted into voltage for proper display on LCD. The display readings are proportional to the optical density values and hence proportional to the concentration of the solution under measurement. Once adjusted with a blank solution and with one of the color filter, all samples of different concentrations can be rapidly measured on display. The shift in the zero point is practically negligible because of the low wattage light source and I.C. circuitry resulting in accurately reproducible results.
