Horizontal Polypropylene Centrifugal Pumps are provided with injection wetted and design and further all parts come into contact with liquid are of non-metallic construction. The material of construction is specially selected depending on the specific application. Polypropylene for clear fluids are upto 80 Temp. Glass Filled Polypropylene (GFP) having good resistence to corrosion is used for fluids having suspended parities and can handle Acids, Alkalies, Effluents, Fluids containing suspended particles slurry etc.

Centrifugal Pump is used for highly corrosive chemicals in process industries replacing highly expensive materials like Hastelloy, Alloy-20, SS 316, Monel etc. Liquid contact parts are made of moulded polypropylene. Standard dimension pumps are provided with Blue Asbestos Gland Packing or Internal or External Mechanical Seal. Impeller is moulded with Hastelloy, Alloy-20, SS 316 inserts. One piece sturdy solid moulded volute casing is designed to avoid breakage of polypropylene flanges at suction and discharge ends. Semi open impeller with metallic insert ensures smooth running. Loosening of impeller is prevented by dome lock nut made of Hastelloy, Alloy-20, SS 316 according to liquid to be handled. Shaft is made of SS 316 and sleeves are made of Hastelloy B or C, ceramic Alloy-20, Monel etc. according to the liquid to be handled.

Centrifugal Chemical Process Pumps is manufactured using specialized Fluoropolymers (PVDF—PolyVinylidene Di Fluoride) for handling various corrosive liquids. PVDF offers a high degree of crystallinity to the other process which results in superior thermo-mechanical properties. Special properties are it has resistance to most chemicals and solvents, it has resistance to nuclear radiation and fungus, it has low permeability to most gases and liquids and further it has low flame and smoke characteristics.
