Fluid Bed Dryer is designed for fast and uniform drying of powders, crystals and medium sized pellets. It finds application in Pharmaceuticals, Bulk Drugs, Dyes & Chemicals, Phyto-Chemicals, Catalysts etc. Fresh air is drawn in by means of a fan. The air is then passed through a filter and heated to produce warm air by use of electric heaters. If the product contains a solvent or inflammable substances, the dryer must be operated using steam and provided with a flame-proof motor. The heated air passes through the product container which has diffuser plates and a sieve. Due to the stream of air, the wet product gets fluidised. The material gets surrounded by the hot air and gets dried due to heat transfer. Moist air passes through a filter bag and an exhaust duct. It is not suitable for drying of liquids or pastes.

Flash Dryers is suitable for drying a wide range of products, from inert chemicals like sodium bicarbonate, gypsum and alumina to natural products ranging from native starch to certain polymer materials. These flash dryers are highly effective and efficient in performance these are widely used for continuous drying of filter cakes and high viscosity liquids, cohesive and non-cohesive pastes.

Continuous Fluid Bed Dryers are used in various industries like pharmaceuticals, chemical, food and beverage for drying solids in particulate form. The process of air is supplied to the bed through a special perforated distributor plate and flows through the bed of solids at a velocity sufficient to support the weight of particles in a fluidized state.

Drum Dryers are mainly used to convert molten chemicals in to solid flakes. This is achieved by coating thin layer of molten chemical on rotating drum which is cooled from inside by suitable mechanism by sprinkling water.
