High Pressure Ball Valves is a form of quarter-turn valve which used a hallow, perforated and pivoting ball to control flow through it. It is open when the ball’s hole is in line with the flow and closed when it is pivoted 90-degrees by the valve handle. These valves allow for shut-off and/or purposes of control. They have a round closure element that contains a matching pair of rounded seats. These seats allow necessary sealing to take place. If the valve is opened, the ball rotates to a point where the hole through the ball is in line with the valve body inlet and outlet. If the valve is closed, the ball is rotated so that the hole is perpendicular to the flow openings of the valve body and the flow is stopped. It is widely used in air, gaseous and liquid applications.

Manual Butterfly Valves have a short circular body, a round disc, metal-to-metal or soft seats, top and bottom shaft bearings, and a stuffing box. The valves are even available with flanged, threaded and butt welding ends, but they are not often applied. It is a quarter-turn rotational motion valve that is used to stop, regulate, and start flow. Series SH4 Safety Shut Off Valves shuts off the gas flow when the pressure it is monitoring rises and reaches the set point of the slam shut valve due to any failure in the pressure regulating system.
