1,6-Hexanediol is a linear diol contains terminally located two primary hydroxyl groups.It is used in the production of polyesters for polyurethane elastomers, coatings, adhesives and polymeric plasticizers.It is also used as an intermediate in the production of the bifunctional Hexanediol Diacrylate.
