Vinylypyridines are co-monomer in styrene-butadiene polymers to promote adhesion between the rubber compound and supporting fibers in tires, belts, hoses. They are used as intermediate for manufacturing chemical compounds. They are also used in manufacturing pharmaceuticals and bio-compounds.
