Aceto appoints new chief financial officer

PORT WASHINGTON, US: Aceto Corporation (ACET) has appointed Edward Borkowski as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 21 February 2018.

Aceto is an international company engaged in the development, marketing, sale and distribution of human health products, pharmaceutical ingredients and performance chemicals.

Borkowski possesses nearly 20 years of executive financial and strategic leadership in healthcare and the speciality and generics pharmaceutical industry. Borkowski served as CFO at several healthcare companies including Concordia, where he was also a member of the board, Carefusion and Mylan.

“Ed brings the right combination of pharmaceutical financial management, business acumen and capital markets transactions and M&A experience that are integral to Aceto’s ongoing transition to a human health company and to our longer-term plans to balance our business model and enhance profitability through vertical integration and greater ownership of intellectual property,” said William Kennally, chief executive officer (CEO) of Aceto.
