DUBAI, UAE: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has marked Narendra Modi’s swearing in ceremony as the Prime Minister of India.

Symbolising the close bonds of friendship and cooperation that exist between both nations, the UAE govt lit up the iconic ADNOC building with Indian and UAE flags, also displaying videos of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Narendra Modi.

ADNOC is the only foreign oil and gas company, to date, to invest in India's strategic petroleum reserves programme.

Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco has joined hands with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and several Indian oil companies to invest up to $44 billion to build a refinery in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. This will be India's largest refinery and petrochemical complexes.
