JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA: Advanced Petrochemical Company will be setting up a polypropylene joint venture, with a Turkish company, in Turkey. The plant is expected to be commissioned by end of 2015. The new plant creates an enormous opportunity for the employees to gain exposure and experience in the international arena. This international venture is one of the growth plans that the company is studying and implementing in the near future in bringing the company to the next level.
Khalifa Bin Abdullatif Al-Mulhim, Chairman, Advanced Petrochemicals declared that for more than two years, the executive management of the company is evaluating and studying all feasible opportunities in the field of basic petrochemicals and manufacturing including expansions, and that two of these projects are now in final stages of the feasibility study and will be announced shortly after obtaining the approval from board of directors.
