Air Products wins industrial gases supply contract from Chemours

LEHIGH VALLEY, US: Air Products and Chemicals Inc signs agreement with Chemours Company FC LLC, for the supply of multiple industrial gases. Air Products will construct, own and operate an air separation unit (ASU) in New Johnsonville, US to produce oxygen, nitrogen, argon and supply Chemours with compressed dry air and breathing air for its established titanium dioxide (TiO2) production facility.

The plant will be operational by the end of 2018.

“This opportunity further strengthens our relation with titanium dioxide market-leader Chemours. And we will be able to continue the supply of industrial gases to our customers to meet the growing demand in the market,” said Marie Ffolkes, president, Americas – industrial gases at Air Products.
