Air Products board elects new director
John E McGlade, President and Chief Executive Officer, Air Products.

PENNSYLVANIA, US: Susan K Carter, Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer of KBR Inc, has been elected to Air Products’ board of directors.

Commenting on the board election, Air Products Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer John E McGlade stated that Carter “Will add significant value to the company through her strong financial background, as well as her global knowledge and experience in strategic markets for Air Products, such as power and energy.”

Carter, 52, has served as CFO of KBR, a $10 billion global engineering, construction and services company, since 2009. Prior to joining KBR, Carter held the position of VP, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Cummins Inc. in 2002, and EVP and CFO of Lennox International Inc in 2004.

Carter holds a BS degree in accounting from Indiana University and MBA from Northern Illinois university. She is a certified public accountant and former board member of Lyondell Chemical Company.
