Air Products to open R&D centre for welding technology in Poland

LEHIGH VALLEY, US/WROCLAW, POLAND: Air Products will soon open its first Research & Development Centre for welding technology in Central Europe. The centre in Wroclaw, Poland is the third in the world that Air Products in use. The R&D Centre in Poland focuses on the improvement of manufacturing processes of metal. The centre will also be used to examine for customers to implement and employees of Air Products to train.

“It is important for us that the first Central European R&D Centre for welding technology of Air Products is Wroclaw. Air Products is a leading industrial gas supplier in Poland, a country that for us is one of the major markets in Europe,” said Piotr Wieczorek, Managing Director, Central Europe, Air Products.
