Arkema to acquire Resicryl’s production site in Brazil

COLOMBES, FRANCE: Arkema announced plan to acquire production of emulsions and additives belonging to the Brazilian society Resicryl. This project demonstrates the Group’s intention to accelerate its development in Latin America around products with high added value. The Group should therefore benefit from the expected strong growth in the markets of the mineral industry, paper, construction, water treatment, paints and adhesives.

Arkema would acquire, through its subsidiary Coatex, the production site Aracariguama, Sao Paulo, Brazil. “The site Aracariguama is ideally placed to meet the expectations of our current and future customers. This is an important first step that will enable Arkema and its subsidiary Coatex to quickly take advantage of the strong growth in Brazil and Latin America,” said Alain Mari, President, Coatex.
