TOKYO, JAPAN: Asahi Kasei E-materials has begun construction of a new plant for production of Sunfort dry film photoresist (dry film) in Changshu, Jiangsu, China. The new plant will have a production capacity of 120 million m2 per year, with start-up scheduled for September 2013. Currently, Asahi Kasei E-materials has two production bases for dry film master rolls, in Fuji, Japan, and Suzhou, China. To continue to meet further growing demand for dry film, Asahi Kasei E-materials decided to construct its third dry film plant in Changshu, Jiangsu, China.
