MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: The Australian High Court made decision that SNF has infringed BASF’s Rheomax ETD patents and that those patents are valid. The decision marks the end of proceedings in Australia, which commenced in 2008.
“BASF is committed to providing customers with innovative, effective technologies and solutions. To achieve this, BASF must be able to protect its investment in years of research and development and intellectual property rights,” said Steffen Kudis, Head of Global Water, Oilfield and Mining Solutions businesses, BASF.
