BASF changes board members
Dr Walter Gramlich, Head of the Strategic Planning & Controlling division, BASF.

LUDWIGSHAFEN, GERMANY: Dr Bernhard Nick, currently President, Verbund Site Management Europe, will become head of the Strategic Planning & Controlling division effective 1 July 2013. He succeeds Dr Walter Gramlich, who is retiring on 30 June 2013 following a 34 year career at BASF.

Dr Friedrich Seitz, currently President, Process Research & Chemical Engineering, will succeed Nick as head of the Verbund Site Management Europe division effective 1 June 2013. Dr Peter Schuhmacher will succeed Seitz as President of the Process Research & Chemical Engineering division effective 1 May 2013. Schuhmacher is currently Senior Vice President Strategic Planning.
