LUDWIGSHAFEN, GERMANY: BASF SE said it will lift force majeure declared on 21 May for ethylene oxide (EO)-based products produced in Europe in the portfolio of home care and industrial & institutional cleaning, formulation technologies, AgChem additives and certain EO-based products in the portfolio of personal care as of 10 July 10.
BASF announced the lifting of Force Majeure for EO as of 1 July. With the improved ethylene oxide supply situation the production of EO-based products is ramping-up. Consequently, Force Majeure will be lifted as of 10 July for all affected EO-based products in the portfolio of care chemicals, it said.
