BioAmber values share offering at $9 per share

MINNEAPOLIS, US: Sustainable chemical company BioAmber Inc said it has priced an underwritten registered common stock offering of 3,900,000 shares at a price of $9 per share, expected to close on 6 May.

The gross proceeds of the offering will be $35.1 million and the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 585,000 shares of its common stock.

Coanaccord Genuity Inc and Barclays Capital Inc are the joint book-running managers, while Raymond James & Associates Inc and SG Americas Securities LLC are the co-managers. Net proceeds, after underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated fees and expenses payable by BioAmber will be approximately $32.8 million, it said.
