CHARLOTTE, US: Blumenthal Holdings LLC, owners of Radiator Specialty Company (RSC), acquired majority stake in Terresolve Technologies, a leading manufacturer of biobased hydraulic and functional fluids and lubricants for the offshore marine, marine transport, oil and gas and turf care industries. The acquisition will complement RSC’s existing business, RSC Bio Solutions LLC, and further solidify the company’s commitment to delivering high performance chemistries that do not negatively impact the environment or the employee safety of their industrial customers.
“Blumenthal Holdings’ acquisition of Terresolve Technologies deepens RSC’s commitment to this emerging market area and further establishes a business platform dedicated to providing solutions for environmental and workplace hazards. With the increasing demand for biodegradable products that can perform alongside their petroleum counterparts, the controlling stake in Terresolve Technologies gives RSC Bio Solutions a significant advantage by allowing us to bring to market a robust line of environmentally safe performance chemistries,” said Mike Guggenheimer, Vice President, Business Development, RSC Bio Solutions.
