LUGANO, SWITZERLAND: Casale SA said that it has acquired a major contract by India-based Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd, to provide basic engineering design services for revamping their ammonia-urea complex in Goa, India. In addition, a new granulation unit based on Casale’s Vortex technology will also be supplied, it said.
The goal of the revamping is to increase the output of the complex from 850 metric tonne per day (mtd) to 1,050 mtd of ammonia and from 1,450 mtd to 1,800 mtd of urea respectively.
