BEIJING, CHINA: China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced temporary anti-dumping measures against tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) imports from India. Importers of Indian TBHQ should submit cash deposits to Chinese customs from 30 April 2014, said the MOC.
According to the ministry’s investigations, TBHQ from India has been dumped on the Chinese market and such imports have caused substantial damage to the domestic industry. The MOC launched an anti-dumping probe into imported Indian TBHQ on 22 August 2013.
