CNPC forms Hongshan Oilfield JV in China

CNPC forms Hongshan Oilfield JV in China

BEIJING, CHINA: CNPC, Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Production & Construction Corps signed an agreement in Beijing on 8 August 2012, to cooperate in the exploration and development of Hongshan Oilfield in Karamay, Xinjiang. The agreement aims to fully utilize the rich oil and gas resources in Xinjiang to promote the economic restructuring and sustainable development of the region.
